Here is a picture that Ian wanted to include as further evidence of his view that SCUBA diving rocks. Ben took it while we were diving a site called "Jerry's Jelly" on Rainbow Reef off of Taveuni. We were in about 60 feet of water and the school stretched from the sea floor to the surface. It was like being thrown into an M.C. Escher sketch, only in color.

Ian, I am really impressed by this report. You did an excellent job of convincing me that SCUBA has more to offer than snorkeling. From the way you presented the facts,I can easily see that SCUBA allows you to be IN the different habitats allowing you to view not only the big elements, but also the little, bitty ones. When you are on the surface it's wonderful fun seeing what lies below, but clearly it's not the same thing. Also, you seem to be more comfortable in front of the camera. I know you need to read what you've written, but since you don't have a teleprompter to help, try to look up now and then.(I love seeing your eyes!) CC
